Microfiltered Whey Protein
Solgar produce Whey To Go Protein Powder in vanilla, chocolate and mixed berry flavours. We especially like the chocolate and vanilla. BioPure Pure Protein by Metagenics or Twinlab’s Super Whey Powder are also good. Our favorite, in terms of quality, not taste, is Medipro by Thorne Research. In addition to micro filtered whey, it contains a superbly balanced multivitamin and mineral complex – ideal as a meal-replacement smoothie. Herb Teas
Some of our favorite blends include Cinnamon Rose, Orange Zinger and Emperors Choice by Celestial Seasonings: Warm & Spicy by Symmingtons and Creamy Carob French Vanilla. Yogi Tea by Golden Temple Products is a strong spicy blend, perfect as a coffee replacement. Green tea is available from health food stores and Oriental supermarkets.

Manuka Honey

Stevia
In most countries, not in the UK alas, stevia is readily available in health food stores in many forms. It comes as clear liquid extract in distilled water, powdered stevia leaf, as full strength (very sweet) stevioside extract. Our favorite kind, which we order from North America is called ‘Stevita Spoonable Stevia.’
